By Stefanos SKialivas and Nicola Privato

MidiSense is an open-source, wearable Wi-Fi controller designed as a bracelet. It prioritizes ergonomics, interoperability, scalability, and modularity. Featuring long battery life and extremely low latency enabled by a dedicated protocol and plug-and-play receiver, MidiSense easily adapts to a wide range of creative applications.

You can build your own by downloading code, list of components and 3D print fileshere.

MidiSense is very easy to build and expand. We put a lot of effort in avoiding glued components. Furthermore, MidiSense integrates seamlessly with any MIDI-capable device via a dedicated (optional) app, capable of hosting up to five bracelets simultaneously. The system was developed by Stefanos Skialivas and Nicola Privato through a collaboration with artist Maria Arnal.
