Franco Caspe is a maker, hobbyist musician, engineer, and PhD student at Queen Mary University of London, with a background in Electronics and Computer Vision. His expertise spans signal processing, machine learning, and audio, with a strong focus on real-time applications and performance-driven synthesis. Before diving into audio research, he worked on real-time systems for image processing and communications.
Franco will present the outcome of his four-year research, during which he worked on developing intuitive, transparent, and natural timbre transfer systems for vocals and instruments.

Ronja Jóhannsdóttir will present the Feedback Delay Network reverb she developed for LOVE Synthesizers, the fundamentals behind artificial reverberation using feedback delay networks, the development process and a demonstration of the final product.
