The Orpheus Instituut in Ghent is organising a conference called Decentralised Creativity and Agential Systems in Music. It explores how emerging technologies, especially generative AI and blockchain, reimagine the current notions of creative agency. Conveners of the conference are: Adam Łukawski, Martin Zeilinger.

Web Audio Conference at Ircam

Web Audio Conference 2025

The international Web Audio Conference will be held at Ircam this year. For this 10th year anniversary, the proposed theme “Hacking and Making with Web Audio”, is intended to invite scholars, researchers, developers, designers and artists to explore and engage with new usage of the Web Audio API across various disciplines and contexts.

Thor Magnusson will give a keynote during the conference called “Thinking with Technology: Hacking, Making and Improvisation”.
